Quran 16:14- It is He who has made the sea subservient so that you might eat from it flesh that is fresh and tender and take from it gems to wear, And you see the ships in there that plough the waves, so that you may seek of the bounty of God and that you may be grateful.

Quran 2:30- God created nature in a balance and mankind's responsibility is to maintain this fragile equilibrium.
