Nasreen's paintings literally hang around the world. An invited participant in the "Art in Embassies" program, an initiative designed to rotate fine art in U.S. embassies throughout the world, Nasreen's paintings have been featured in embassies in Pakistan, Senegal and the UAE, among other locations. Nasreen was also invited to the White House by First Lady Laura Bush as a selected, honored artist for the "Art in Embassies" program reception.
Nasreen's paintings were also selected for inclusion by the Getty-USC Journalist Fellowship Program (whose primary leaders include David Hockney and Peter Sellars, among other acclaimed individuals). Further, Nasreen was extended an invitation to speak on Islamic Art Day (2004) at LACMA through the Getty-USC program, where she lectured on her paintings and provided commentary on various comparative religion topics of interest.
A philanthropist first and foremost, Nasreen's work has also shown in benefit exhibitions for New Horizon and Human Rights Watch, among other charities and philanthropies.
